MUCH to look forward to =]

I'm typing this blog post in very good spirits. Just this morning I booked my flight to Key West to visit Mackey over my Easter break and I couldn't be more thrilled. I fly out of Laguardia @ 6:00AM and arrive in Fort Lauderdale by 9:00AM on April 20th where Jess will pick me up and take me down to the sun-shiny Florida Keys!!! This vacation could not come at a better time. The average temperature in the keys for April is 82 degrees. I CAN'T WAIT. Now I just need to SERIOUSLY start that diet that was supposed to begin when the new year rolled in. I'm gonna try and go on nightly walks with Chris too which will help me feel energized and hopefully help me lose some poundage. It's amazing how having something like a vacation to look forward to and plan for can change your mood and outlook. I needed this real bad and I'm so excited to see my friend!! Jess and I have been close since my freshman year at Oneonta and we shared an apartment my senior year. Of all the people I met and spent time with in college she is one of the few that I keep in touch with on a somewhat regular basis. I'm bad at keeping in touch with people but she is definitely one of the ones whom I know I need in my life for the long haul.
